Four Poems

These four experimental poems each use 3, 5, 7, or 8 words, exploring typographical experimentation as a form of metrical expression and troping, including techniques such as parataxis and catachresis, as well as strategies of divergence and repetition. 

In particular, I aimed to experiment with the differences between Korean and English, exploring the separation and combination of sound, form, grammar, and word order, as well as processes of estrangement and assimilation, creating poems that engage both languages simultaneously.
