I have long admired the harmonious, stable, and functional forms of natural objects. This work was inspired by my fascination with the intricate and exquisite qualities of living organisms, particularly upon discovering that scallops possess over 200 small eyes.

Although these eyes have functionally regressed, their decorative and mysterious visual aspects appear to have been heightened.

To explore whether partial visual elements can evoke the image of the whole, I analyzed and deconstructed the scallops’ forms, reassembling them to create a reimagined interpretation through my own expression.
