By integrating the form of the Korean word for ‘shrimp (새우)’ with the creature’s own characteristics, the work explores the potential for objects or nature to be expressed as letters in visual form.
The postcards were produced using two-color risography, while the case employs paper-cutting techniques that reveal the backing sheet beneath the letters, expanding the scope of customization.
