This series of paintings explores the impressions created by structurally planned and organized forms versus those perceived as amorphous masses. 

The study examines the priority of visual perception—whether the dominant shape or background is perceived first—by using outlines to distinguish shapes from their backgrounds. 

It also investigates the strategies employed to express conflicting phenomena, such as rising versus falling or stability versus instability, through form.
